RowMotion is now Rowing in Motion
For various reasons, we have decided to change the name of our innovative, professional measurement system “RowMotion” to “Rowing in Motion”. With the official launch being just a few weeks away, we hope not to cause too much confusion and think this is the best moment to do this sort of mini-re-brand. The new name reflects the evolution that the system has gone through in the beta program quite nicely. We have added many interesting features and worked hard to make using the system as simple as using a StrokeCoach.
The primary domain of this website has changed too, as you may have noticed. All requests to rowmotionapp.com will now be redirected to the our new domain rowinginmotion.com, so please update all your links accordingly. We have updated all our social network presence. Make sure to follow/like us to get all the latest news when the Rowing in Motion will finally hit the App Store.

I am fascinated by this tlcgnoeohy. I saw Blaise s TED talk on augmented-reality maps and the amazing demonstration of incorporating live streaming video into the still photography framework of the Pike Street Market. I am assuming that there is the possibility of overlapping and interweaving multiple live streaming video feeds into that same framework, so that someone can virtually navigate through the various perspectives supplied by content providers. An example might be dozens of different perspectives at a live football game, or of participants at protests like the one Cairo. I am curious if this is a goal of the project and what kind of time frame you are anticipating to achieve this level of integration.
Hi Aatish, we’re currently not planning to add explicit support for reviewing multiple perspectives at the same time. However, it’s possible right now to use any number of Coach Apps listening to the data stream of a single Boat App on the same WiFi. That means you can theoretically record multiple, data-synchronized Rowing in Motion Videos from different perspective’s at the same time using multiple devices. Using appropriate software should allow you to replay them in a convenient manner to get a true multi-perspective video.
